Due to its recent renovations, Dufferin station presents a blend of old and new on the TTC.
Most striking are its bright, multi-coloured tiles that deviate from the usual pattern on the Bloor-Danforth line.
The new tiles are part of a public art project called Something Happens Here by the design firm spmb.
This is one of the shiny new exit buildings for the station that was completed in 2013.
Something to appreciate about these new small buildings is that they keep as much light as they can with their windowed design.
