Leslie Station's defining feature are the thousands of unique tiles reading "Sheppard & Leslie" in various handwriting.
Designed by artist Micah Lexier, "Ampersand" integrates samples of handwriting from people in the community into the design of the station.
The installation almost has an almost pointillist quality to it.
When viewed from afar, they're an indistinct part of the whole station's design.
But up close they reveal individual, hand-crafted detail.
