TTC Lines Part 16: St. George

The next transfer station on the Bloor-Danforth line, St. George has definitely been the most visually consistent station so far.

I've been trying to bring more attention to the colours of the stations in processing these photos. St. George provided an excellent opportunity to do so with its deep green tiles.

Standing on lower platform of St. George feels like standing underneath a violent hellscape. Because the Yonge-University tracks are directly above, there's an intense rumbling over your head whenever a train comes in.

Going upstairs makes things a bit more pleasant.

I've made countless transfers here at St. George. When it's late at night and the trains are infrequent, it gives me time to think and decompress, until another train comes thrashing through the station.

The next station is Bay.
